Position Title: Senior Customer Care Representative
Job Overview:
This role is designed for a dedicated individual focused on nurturing and enhancing relationships with clients and patients. The Senior Customer Care Representative will deliver prompt and precise assistance to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit a compassionate and friendly demeanor, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Guide and mentor junior customer service representatives, aiding in their training and onboarding.
- Ensure adherence to patient confidentiality standards and departmental operating procedures.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries regarding specimen requirements, test results, billing questions, and more.
- Communicate critical results to clients and patients with exemplary communication skills.
- Maintain accurate records by contacting clients and patients for up-to-date information.
- Perform data processing tasks, including sorting mail and verifying patient information.
- Document all interactions within the designated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Utilize laboratory information systems effectively and assist in report generation.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and assist during staffing shortages.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
Qualifications:
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in customer care or call center environments.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant customer service software.
