Position Responsibilities
The daily tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing orders and inventory
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Performing data entry and generating reports
- Conducting audits and ensuring quality control
- Facilitating internal and external communications
- Coordinating transportation and managing personnel
- Handling miscellaneous administrative duties
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact for our clients at the warehouse level.
Deliver high-quality customer service and operational support to clients at the designated warehouse.
Maintain open lines of communication with clients, staying engaged with their product needs and business requirements.
Customer interactions will involve consistent in-person, phone, and email communication, including resolving order or billing issues related to the assigned warehouse.
Investigate shipment tracking inquiries and provide feedback, including resolving misplaced orders or shipments.
Communicate internally with business development, sales, integrations, and other departments as necessary.
Collaborate closely with the internal IT team to assist in resolving customer issues.
Support operational procedures such as sorting, loading/unloading, shipment processing, documentation, manifesting, packaging, and providing shipment status updates.
Oversee and manage the order process within the warehouse.
Input data into our proprietary system (SWIMS) and maintain order and customer information as directed.
Engage the Process Compliance Team for assistance with complex or escalated issues.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Candidate Profile | Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
1+ years of experience in a customer service-related role.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with general technological skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills; capable of quickly establishing rapport with both clients and Smart Warehousing teams.
A creative and innovative mindset to effectively resolve customer issues.
Demonstrated initiative in completing tasks creatively, with a sense of urgency and assertiveness.
