Client Intake Coordinator

Position Overview: The Intake Caseworker plays a crucial role in managing and facilitating all processes, documentation, and communication associated with the intake management and support services for clients, from initial contact through to discharge.


Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents facing emotional challenges is preferred.
  • Strong written communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Basic computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years old.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process the admission of new clients, which includes entering client information into the Electronic Record system, completing all necessary documentation, and distributing admission details to relevant staff members.
  • Support the Clinical Supervisor in tracking and auditing clinical documentation.
  • Complete the Biopsychosocial section of the Diagnostic Evaluation for all clients admitted under Diagnostic Services and present this information at ITT meetings and court hearings as needed.
  • Contribute to treatment planning by coordinating ITT meeting schedules, sending invitations to participants, organizing agendas, finalizing documentation, auditing treatment plans, and scheduling necessary examinations.
  • Assist in managing the environment by providing coverage as requested, transporting clients to various appointments, monitoring clients, and administering medications in accordance with established policies.

Note: This position requires participation in the on-call rotation for the Diagnostic Program.
