Job Description

Join the esteemed team at Saint Restaurant Group as an Executive Sous Chef for our high-volume upscale seafood and steakhouse. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure seamless execution of menu items, maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure alignment with the restaurant's culinary vision.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to maintain a well-trained and motivated kitchen team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent performance.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen budgets to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team to achieve high standards of quality and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the Executive Chef, kitchen staff, and other restaurant teams.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
