Job Responsibilities:

Live Nation is in search of a Safety Coordinator. This role involves assisting with crowd management initiatives and conducting regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the venue.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the safety of both patrons and staff.
  • Conducting routine patrols of the venue.
  • Responding promptly to all safety-related incidents.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance while on duty.
  • Managing crowd movement throughout various venue areas.
  • Guiding patrons to exits during emergencies.
  • Identifying and addressing problematic attendees effectively.
  • Collaborating with security personnel, medical staff, and first responders.
  • Adhering to all departmental performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
  • Performing a variety of tasks efficiently, often shifting between different responsibilities.
  • Following all legal and ethical guidelines set forth by the Safety Supervisors and Event Safety Manager.
  • Upholding the policies and procedures of the Safety Ambassador Department.
  • Assisting with incident reports as needed.
  • Completing assigned tasks within the established guidelines and deadlines.
  • Interacting courteously and professionally with patrons, vendors, and employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Effective communication skills in English are essential. A solid understanding of legal regulations and relevant codes is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to represent the Safety Ambassador Department positively and perform effectively under pressure. Skills in memorization and quick information retrieval are crucial, as is the capacity to interact calmly with distressed patrons and staff during challenging situations. Physical requirements include the ability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., and perform various physical tasks.

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
