At Jacobs, we question conventional wisdom and innovate solutions to address the world's most pressing challenges, transforming ambitious concepts into intelligent strategies for a more interconnected and sustainable future.
Craft your career with an organization that motivates and empowers you to excel, allowing you to evolve, develop, and thrive – both now and in the future.
Your daily tasks will encompass aligning initiatives with corporate objectives, formulating comprehensive work plans, overseeing teams, meeting milestones, and conveying outcomes to stakeholders. The Project Manager is responsible for strategizing and distributing resources, drafting budgets, tracking progress, and keeping stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle. All of this occurs within the framework of fulfilling a company's objectives and realizing their vision. The responsibilities of the Project Manager may vary from one initiative to another.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guaranteeing that all initiatives are completed punctually within the defined scope and budget.
- Leading the initiation and planning phases of a project while ensuring technical viability.
- Confirming resource availability and allocation.

- Conducting risk management assessments to mitigate project risks.
- Reporting and escalating issues to upper management as necessary.
- Establishing and maintaining thorough project documentation.
The Project Manager should be well-versed in specific requirements and processes relevant to the organization, including but not limited to: permit boards, engineering offices, health and safety manuals, visitor requests, and safety plans for subcontractors.
Moreover, the Project Manager should assist in developing Building Information Models (BIM) for facilities, familiarize themselves with layouts and floor plans of various buildings, and support personnel with technical issues on smaller projects that do not necessitate full-time project management oversight. The ideal candidate should provide on-site supervision for subcontractors and keep management updated on project status. Additionally, they should mentor less experienced Project Managers or Engineers in the aforementioned areas.
