ROLE SUMMARY:

Live Nation Concerts is in search of a Venue Safety Coordinator. This individual will play a crucial role in managing crowd safety and will actively monitor the venue to deter any potential disturbances or violations of regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Conduct regular patrols throughout the venue and respond promptly to all safety-related incidents.
  • Manage crowd dynamics in various sections of the venue.
  • Guide guests to exits during emergencies.
  • Identify and address problematic attendees appropriately.
  • Collaborate with the Security team, medical staff, and emergency responders.
  • Adhere to all departmental performance, conduct, and attendance standards.
  • Adapt to various tasks seamlessly while maintaining efficiency and composure.
  • Follow all legal and ethical directives from Safety Supervisors and the Event Safety Manager.
  • Uphold the policies and procedures of the Safety Ambassador department.
  • Assist with incident reporting as needed.
  • Complete all assigned duties within the specified guidelines and timelines.
  • Engage with guests, vendors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of legal regulations and relevant codes.
  • Ability to represent the Safety Ambassador Department with professionalism.
  • Capable of performing effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong memory and quick information retrieval skills.
  • Ability to interact calmly with distressed patrons and staff during challenging situations.
  • Physical capability to walk, stand, lift at least 45 lbs., reach, pull, push, grasp, and drag.
COMPENSATION:
$23.00 per hour
