Job Summary

Crisis Connections invites applications for a Phone Worker position in our crisis support team. This role involves providing critical support to individuals in crisis, connecting them to the necessary resources and services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist callers by screening, assessing, and linking them to the appropriate support services.
  • Gather information from callers to determine their needs and provide the necessary support.
  • Complete log-sheets accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in program meetings, training, and in-services to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: A degree in Social Services or relevant work experience.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and experience in a call center environment.

Training and Support

  • New hires will attend 3 training shifts per week onsite and complete online modules and shadowing shifts before starting scheduled shifts.
  • Training Coordinator will provide follow-up and additional information during New Hire Orientation.
