Position Overview

We provide a performance-based remote work option contingent on job duties. Following initial in-person training, this role may allow for the flexibility of working from home up to three days weekly.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a highly regarded insurance provider, is in search of an enthusiastic entry-level Life Insurance Customer Service Associate to become part of our team. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from agents and policyholders via telephone with professionalism, ensuring accurate and prompt responses.
  • Adhering to established call center protocols for managing incoming calls.
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, agents, policyholders, and other departments as necessary.
  • Investigating and resolving inquiries, communicating outcomes through telephone and/or written correspondence to policyholders, agents, or other departments.
  • Conducting computer inquiries and data entries related to customer accounts.
  • Maintaining records and policy files in accordance with established procedures.
  • Exhibiting regular and predictable attendance in alignment with a defined work schedule.
Qualifications & Skills
  • A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in a direct insurance agency or company, particularly with Life products, is advantageous.
  • Willingness to accommodate occasional and/or seasonal overtime.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
