Position Overview
This role includes a merit-based remote work option contingent on job duties. Following initial in-person training, the selected candidate may have the opportunity to work from home up to three days a week.
We are currently seeking a driven entry-level Life Contact Center Representative to contribute to our mission. The responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries from agents and policyholders with professionalism and accuracy.
- Adhering to established call center protocols for handling incoming calls.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, agents, policyholders, and other departments as necessary.
- Investigating and resolving inquiries, communicating outcomes via phone or written correspondence to relevant parties.
- Performing computer-based inquiries and data entry related to customer accounts.
- Maintaining records and policy files in accordance with established procedures.
- Consistently attending work as per the defined schedule.
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in a direct insurance agency or company, particularly with Life products, is advantageous.
- Willingness to work occasional or seasonal overtime as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
