Position Overview
This role includes a merit-based remote work option based on job duties. Following initial in-person training, this position may allow for up to 3 days of remote work each week.
We are looking for a driven entry-level Life Contact Center Representative to enhance our operations. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries from agents and policyholders with professionalism and providing accurate, timely information.
- Adhering to established call center protocols for responding to calls.
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues, agents, policyholders, and other departments as necessary.
- Investigating and resolving inquiries, communicating outcomes via phone or written correspondence to policyholders, agents, or other departments.
- Performing computer inquiries and data entries related to customer accounts.
- Maintaining records and policy files in accordance with established procedures.
- Exhibiting regular and predictable attendance in alignment with a defined work schedule.
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Experience in a direct insurance agency or company, particularly with Life products, is advantageous.
- Willingness to accommodate occasional and/or seasonal overtime.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
