Position Overview

Auto-Owners Insurance, a highly-rated insurance provider, is in search of a proactive Life Customer Service Representative to enhance our operations. The responsibilities of this role include:
- Collaborating effectively with agents, policyholders, and colleagues across all levels.
- Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Performing computer inquiries and data entries related to policyholder accounts.
- Engaging with agents and others to investigate issues and identify solutions.
- Organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Maintaining regular attendance in accordance with a defined work schedule.
- Providing accurate and comprehensive responses to agents and policyholders regarding advanced policy features, coverages, and procedures.
- Gathering and assessing information while exercising sound judgment in decision-making throughout the servicing process.
- Associate's degree (preferably in Accounting or Business) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or at least two years of relevant professional office experience.
- Experience in an insurance agency or company with Life products is advantageous.
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute with 85% accuracy.
- Willingness to accommodate occasional and/or seasonal overtime.
- Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
