FTZ Customs Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled FTZ Customs Specialist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a key member of our customs compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring adherence to U.S. import compliance and FTZ requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit required documentation and forms to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and FTZ Board in a timely manner.
- Manage FTZ admissions, resolve posting messages, and retrieve/review shipping documentation.
- Research and validate foreign vs domestic receipts, ensuring accuracy of integration and information.
- Analyze and prepare weekly estimated entry (CF3461) and Customs entry (CF7501).
- Manage FTZ recordkeeping retention program, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- Investigate inventory inaccuracies, reconcile stock balances, and manage in-bond transactions.
- Support supply chain, customs, and logistics teams with data analysis and research.
- Ensure FTZ procedures are current and accurately reflect operations and practices.
- Perform routine audits of FTZ operations, including customs filings, physical security, and inventory control.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in FTZ administration, with strong knowledge of U.S. Foreign Trade Zones program.
- Relevant experience in customs compliance, international transportation, or logistics operations is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team or alone with little supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Excel and Word.
