Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Lead Engineer in the Signal Processing domain, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of defense systems.

Role Responsibilities:


As the Lead Engineer, you will guide a specialized team focused on the performance assessment, analysis, and integration of various RF devices across a diverse range of products. Your leadership will be crucial in:

1. **Team Leadership:** Overseeing the Signal Processing Team to ensure effective collaboration and integration with cross-functional teams.
2. **Testing and Evaluation:** Developing and executing comprehensive testing strategies for devices in varied environments, managing resources to align with program and customer objectives.
3. **Talent Development:** Identifying staffing needs and facilitating the onboarding and training of new engineers to maintain high standards of performance.
4. **Stakeholder Coordination:** Engaging with program leadership, including Chief Engineers and Program Managers, to ensure alignment with project goals.
5. **Agile Methodology:** Acting as the Product Owner in an agile setting, refining and prioritizing the Signal Processing sprint backlog to meet program demands.
6. **Travel Requirements:** Occasional travel to support briefings, field tests, and other program-related activities.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Signal Processing.
- Proficiency in RF Signal Processing algorithm development and laboratory testing.
- Programming skills in C/C++, Python, and/or MATLAB.
- An active U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in evaluating Signal Processing algorithms for defense systems.
- Background in missile flight test execution and analysis.
- Leadership experience in an Agile development environment.
- Skills in developing and delivering technical presentations.
- Experience in managing supplier and subcontractor engineering activities.
