Job Summary

We are seeking a talented, tenacious, results-driven Digital Signal Processing Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary R&D team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with electrical engineers, mathematicians, computer scientists, and analysts to develop custom digital signal processing solutions and leverage them to make an operational mission impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital signal processing systems for communication signals, radar signals, and other applications.
  • Develop, deploy, maintain, and test software-based solutions, including algorithm design, data analysis, hardware control, computational optimization, RF system modeling, field testing, error budget analysis, operational performance analysis, and writing efficient software.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest signal processing technologies, tools, and methodologies and experiment with new technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into RRC projects.
  • Work across all functional areas: systems engineering, development, integration and test, deployment and O&M, and experience the direct mission feedback from the customer and seeing your project provide real-world contributions that make a significant difference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other equivalent field.
  • Strong background in DSP, including knowledge of DSP theory as well as practical system development experience.
  • Proficient in C++ and/or Python in LINUX environments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED.

Preferred Skills

  • At least 3 years' experience in a signal processing engineering-related discipline.
  • Cellular communications, satellite communications, modern modulation schemes, cyclostationary techniques.
  • Geolocation, radar signal processing, RF propagation and link budgets, RF system design.
  • DevOps and Cloud computing Experience (Gitlab, CI/CD, CVE mitigations, Docker, Kubernetes, PIP).
  • Current TS/SCI clearance.
