We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Science/Engineering Aide at Arete. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our scientists and engineers in the development and implementation of innovative solutions to complex security challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to scientists and engineers in the development and implementation of programming tasks, integration and test support, and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of program development, modifications to code, and operating instructions.
  • Conduct program tests and analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
  • Research, design, develop, and verify signal and image collection systems, and define and develop processing and dissemination computer algorithms.
  • Develop requirements analysis, system architecture, and integrate new signal and image capture and processing technology systems.
  • Design, develop, and analyze systems for the extraction of information from sensors.
  • Implement signal and image processing with advanced computer architectures.
  • Design, develop, and implement methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze diverse data sets, including structured and unstructured.
  • Develop software programs, algorithms, dashboards, information tools, and queries to clean, model, integrate, and evaluate datasets.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a bachelor's or higher in physical sciences, computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
  • Experience with scientific programming in Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar languages.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
