If you excel at articulating business value and quantifying the costs associated with enhanced processes and tools, we want to hear from you.
Your Role:
As a Senior Economic Value Consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will collaborate with our industry clients to shape their IT financial strategies and assess the value of transitioning to cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with AWS sales teams to engage potential customers, sharing best practices and developing compelling business cases for migration. Your expertise will help identify and address economic barriers to AWS adoption, allowing you to communicate the financial advantages of our services to a wide audience, including Finance, Business, and IT leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive business development initiatives focused on ROI and economic assessments within AWS.
- Support AWS Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams in customer engagements related to financial modeling.
- Develop a standardized ROI framework and dynamic analytical models for use by AWS teams.
- Act as a central resource for the Sales team, assisting customers in creating detailed financial models for their IT environments.
- Create a repository of economic case studies to share insights across AWS.
- Provide market insights on customer perceptions of the economic benefits of AWS compared to traditional data center solutions.
- Prepare and present business reviews to senior management regarding progress and challenges related to cost and business value.
Qualifications:
Basic:
- 6+ years of experience in developing and executing business agreements.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in developing strategies that influence organizational leadership decisions.
- Experience with financial modeling and comparative analysis.
Preferred:
- Experience in interpreting data to make informed business recommendations.
- Background in technology transformation initiatives.
