Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a Sales Analyst to support our Walmart and eCommerce divisions. This role is pivotal in delivering insights-driven strategies and tactics aimed at maximizing category growth.

The Sales Analyst will oversee the gathering, analysis, and reporting of market, consumer, and shopper data pertinent to the channel, with the goal of enhancing category sales, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.

This position will involve regular reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, along with continuous improvements to both standard and ad-hoc reports.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the sales and shipping analytics for Walmart stores and eCommerce operations.
  • Build and nurture business relationships internally and externally to achieve shared objectives.
  • Enhance existing reports and develop new ones to identify trends and sales opportunities.
  • Pinpoint sales opportunities and create data-driven narratives using consumption, shipment, and customer POS data to drive sales growth.
  • Generate reports to highlight emerging trends and suggest enhancements in SKU mix, space allocation, online visibility, and optimal feature representation.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to sales, forecasting, marketing, and accounts to improve POS, sell-through rates, item selection, and geographic distribution.
  • Act as the analytical leader for the team and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of analytical experience in the consumer packaged goods sector, including familiarity with various data sources.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach, coupled with a strong work ethic.
  • A passion for contributing at a high level within a collaborative team environment.
  • A high degree of integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Retail Link, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, NPD, and other analytical tools.
  • Strong presentation skills with a proven ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights.

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $57,000.00 and $80,000.00, reflecting the projected hiring range based on location, skills, and experience.
