Position Summary:


Mattel, Inc., the world's leading toy manufacturer, is in search of a Sales Analyst focused on Walmart and related business sectors.

The Sales Analyst will play a pivotal role in equipping the team, company, and clients with strategic insights and data-driven tactics aimed at optimizing category growth.

This role entails the oversight of data collection, analysis, and reporting concerning market trends, consumer behavior, and shopper data, all aimed at enhancing category sales, customer satisfaction, and return on investment.

The position will also involve the generation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, with an expectation of continuous improvements to both standard and ad-hoc reporting processes.

This role will be based in our Sales office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of sales and shipping analytics for Walmart stores and eCommerce operations.
- Cultivate and enhance business relationships internally and externally to achieve shared objectives.
- Innovate and refine standardized reports and create new reports that highlight trends and sales opportunities.
- Identify sales prospects and craft data-driven narratives using consumption, shipment, and customer point-of-sale data to drive sales growth.

- Generate reports to uncover new trends and suggest enhancements in SKU assortment, space allocation, online visibility, and optimal promotional representation.

- Communicate actionable recommendations to sales, forecasting, marketing, and account teams to enhance point-of-sale performance, sell-through rates, item selection, and geographic distribution.
- Act as the analytical leader within the team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of analytical experience in the consumer packaged goods sector, with proficiency in handling diverse data sources.
- A self-driven individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for contributing meaningfully in a collaborative environment.
- High integrity and meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Retail Link, MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, Tableau, NPD, and other relevant tools.
- Strong presentation skills with a proven ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is between $57,000.00 and $80,000.00. This range reflects the projected hiring range; however, the final salary will be determined based on the candidate's location, skills, and experience.
