For those seeking advanced training, we provide the CLI Conservatory, an extensive in-person program designed to help dancers launch their professional careers with guidance from over 100 esteemed choreographers.

About the Role

This role focuses on the CLI Conservatory, a 10-month pre-professional training initiative aimed at assisting young dancers in entering the professional dance sector. We established the Conservatory to offer dancers and their families a more affordable pathway to kick-starting their dance careers. As the Director of Admissions, you will lead our recruitment and admissions team, playing a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent to the CLI Conservatory. You will collaborate closely with our COO and CEO to devise and implement our admissions strategy. While this position is remote, you must reside in a state where CLI Studios is authorized to operate. Occasional travel to the Conservatory and recruitment events across the country will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the COO and CEO to formulate the recruitment and admissions strategy.
  • Plan and execute significant student recruitment events.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with organizations that align with our recruitment goals.
  • Analyze and report on recruitment performance metrics.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to achieve recruitment objectives.
  • Organize and manage both online and in-person recruitment events, including travel to the CLI Conservatory and various dance events nationwide.
  • Lead the admissions team and work with cross-functional partners to meet admissions targets.

Qualifications and Experience

We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about our unique mission at CLI Studios. You should possess a passion for dance, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to achieving goals and deadlines. Your background should include:

  • A minimum of five years in management roles within business operations, sales, account management, consulting, or admissions.
  • Experience in the dance industry, either as a former dancer or as part of a dance-related organization.
  • A results-driven mindset with strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in leading teams in a dynamic environment.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Clickup) and CRM systems (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).
