About CLI Studios

At CLI Studios, we are a collective of diverse and imaginative individuals who firmly believe in the transformative impact of the performing arts. Our mission is to enhance the accessibility of dance education for aspiring students globally through a blend of technology, innovative approaches, and a dedicated, mission-driven team.

Our online training platform offers dancers worldwide access to over 1,500 classes taught by premier dance instructors from New York and Los Angeles. For those seeking advanced training, we provide the CLI Conservatory, an extensive in-person program where dancers can launch their professional careers with guidance and support from over 100 renowned choreographers.

Our team comprises world-class performing artists, technologists, and startup professionals. We believe that business and art can coexist harmoniously, and it is this fusion that has established us as a bold and creative force in the industry. In our discussions, you will find us seamlessly integrating topics of dance technique, studio production, and performance metrics.

About the Role

This role is dedicated to the CLI Conservatory, a 10-month pre-professional training initiative aimed at assisting young dancers in entering the professional dance sector. We designed the Conservatory to offer dancers and their families a more affordable pathway to launching their dance careers. As the Admissions Director, you will lead our student recruitment and admissions team, tasked with identifying and attracting the most talented dancers to the CLI Conservatory. You will play a pivotal leadership role within the organization, driving the planning and execution of our admissions strategy in collaboration with our COO and CEO. While this position is remote, candidates must reside in a state where CLI Studios is authorized to operate. Occasional travel to the Conservatory and recruiting events across the country will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the COO and CEO to formulate the recruitment and admissions strategy and plan.
  • Organize and execute significant student recruitment events.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with partner organizations that align with our recruiting goals.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on recruitment performance metrics.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to achieve recruitment objectives.
  • Plan and conduct both online and in-person recruitment events, including travel to the CLI Conservatory and various dance events nationwide.
  • Lead the admissions team and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet admissions targets.

Qualifications and Experience

We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about our unique mission at CLI Studios. You should possess a passion for dance, be detail-oriented and organized, and be prepared to work diligently to achieve goals and deadlines. Your experience should include:

  • A minimum of five years in management roles within business operations, sales, account management, consulting, or admissions.
  • Experience within the dance industry, either as a former dancer or as an employee of a dance-related organization.
  • A results-driven mindset with exceptional prioritization and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in managing and leading teams in a dynamic environment.
  • The capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Clickup) and CRM software (e.g., Zendesk, Salesforce).

Equal Opportunity Employer

CLI Studios is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing reasonable accommodations and working with you to meet your needs. We celebrate an inclusive work environment, welcoming individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives.

Right to Work

In compliance with federal law, all individuals hired will be required to verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the necessary employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
