Job Title: Field Sales Representative

At Simplex Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue for targeted accounts by growing sales within existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively expand sales by following leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Collaborate with Sales Support Associates and Appointment Setters to sell products/services, coordinate client visits, sales meetings, and other activities.
  • Develop and implement innovative selling strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity to service application.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers to maintain high levels of client retention and product loyalty.
  • Understand customer needs and objectives and remain responsive to changing customer needs.
  • Lead generate for all sales areas, including insurance, factoring, and other products.
  • Partner with leadership to negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions, as well as other components of customer products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years outside/field sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Holds a consultative approach, business development skills, and a strong attention to detail.
  • Highly experienced within the Trucking Industry (preferred).
  • Experience in Commercial Insurance a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 30% - 50% of the time.
  • Ability to manage the sales process both independently and in collaboration with a Sales Support Associate.
  • Valid driver's license (required).
  • Language: English, Spanish (preferred but not required).
