Job Overview

General Technologies, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering product and inventory information into our database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter data from documents into our ERP system from files and documents, including Excel, Word, and PDF.
  • Sort and identify products based on visual product description and/or SKU and enter data into the system based on criteria.
  • Combine and rearrange data from documents where required.
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary by comparing it to source documents.
  • Check completed work for accuracy.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.
  • Fast typing skills; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Basic understanding of databases.
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
