SUMMARY
Arcticom, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Administrative Specialist for the Ground Based Air Defense Engineering and Logistics Contract at Quantico, VA.The Administrative Specialists will perform numerous administrative tasks while supporting the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) portfolio. This position is full-time working at the Contractor site. No travel is expected for this position but requires close coordination with the Project and Operation Manager and logistics, equipment technicians, teat and evaluation, and engineering functional area managers.
Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Plan and monitor the execution of all program tasks
- Maintain regular communication to keep the Government apprised of all program issues and status
- Accountable for ensuring all sub-contractors are compliant with the terms and conditions of the contract
- Draft and deliver a Monthly Status Report (MSR)
- Ensure all Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) are high quality and delivered on time
- Review expense reports to meet the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) Guidelines
- Review invoices for accuracy and to meet Contract requirements
- Assist with developing Monthly Status Reports

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAOs)
- Drafting and distributing meeting invites, meeting minutes, and meeting rosters
- Compiling and distributing test event and demonstration rosters
- Compiling and editing contractor support documents including reports and memos
- Data entry including converting scanned and handwritten test reports and forms into digital files
- Drafting and editing Power Point presentations
- Travel and Other Direct Cost (ODC) management
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- This position requires at least five years experience in the specific field and a high school diploma.
Preferred
- Active Secret Clearance Preferred but not required
NECESSARY PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for prolonged periods of time; most of time is spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about.
DOT COVERED/SAFETY-SENSITIVE ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation safety-sensitive functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. There is no travel anticipated for this position.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
