Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven individual for the role of Lead Cloud Solutions Architect. This position requires a service-oriented mindset, a sense of ownership, and a commitment to delivering projects punctually while proactively addressing any challenges that arise.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and architect comprehensive software and platform solutions.
- Develop and architect cloud-based web applications and services for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Possess a strong understanding of platform and product requirements, acting as a liaison to clarify "What needs to be built?" and "How should it be constructed?"
- Create object-oriented design documentation that aligns with feature requirements.
- Ensure that the architecture and design are scalable and optimized for cloud environments. Conduct performance evaluations on both new and existing software to identify areas for enhancement and debugging.
- Integrate industry-standard UI and design patterns and methodologies.
- Share and promote knowledge of application development best practices within the organization.
- Collaborate within Scrum and Agile development frameworks.
- Quickly learn and assess emerging cloud development technologies.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cloud architect with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Demonstrated expertise with Azure PaaS services such as App Service, Service Bus, Event Hub, Azure SQL, AKV, IoT Hub, and AAD.
- Proven experience in architecting, implementing, and maintaining event-driven, service-oriented solutions, including GraphQL and REST.
- Strong background in database design and performance optimization across various database types, including RDBMS, NoSQL, and data warehousing.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced cloud design patterns and object-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on development experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Azure or AWS architecture certification is advantageous.
- Proven experience in full-stack web development using .NET in an enterprise context.
- A degree in software engineering or computer science.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and best practices (source control, multiple environments, code migration, unit testing).
- A track record of evaluating, debugging, and enhancing web, API, and Windows Services applications.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, design documentation, and continuous integration.
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and troubleshoot application issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-motivated individual with a demonstrated sense of ownership over tasks.
- A determined approach to completing objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, jQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Familiarity with asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, AJAX, and JSON.
- Exposure to Progressive Web Applications is a significant advantage.
- Experience with cloud development patterns and architecture.
- Experience with Sitecore development.
