About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is on the lookout for seasoned and driven Enterprise Solutions Architects to collaborate with some of the most significant Enterprise, Telecom, and Media clients.

Key Responsibilities
In this highly technical and client-facing position, you will work directly with customers to comprehend their business motivations, evaluate technological requirements, and design dependable, cost-efficient, and scalable cloud infrastructures on AWS.

Customer Advocacy
As a trusted advisor, you will assist organizations in grasping best practices surrounding advanced cloud solutions and offer strategic advice on transitioning existing workloads to the cloud.

Relationship Building
You will cultivate strong connections with senior technical leaders, empowering them to become cloud advocates within their organizations.

Educational Initiatives
A core aspect of your role will involve educating clients on the value proposition of AWS through training sessions, in-depth architectural discussions, and cloud acceleration initiatives.

Revenue Growth
You will drive revenue enhancement by devising and executing sales strategies in collaboration with the AWS Sales team, mobilizing internal AWS resources and the partner ecosystem to ensure successful application/service builds and migrations onto AWS.

Knowledge Sharing
Additionally, you will document and disseminate best practice knowledge across AWS, including authoring customer-facing materials such as whitepapers and blog posts.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The perfect candidate possesses a fervor for cloud computing, with a demonstrated history in technology consulting, solutions architecture, or pre-sales engineering. You should be broadly skilled across infrastructure, security, DevOps, databases, application development, analytics, and have deep expertise in at least two areas.

Communication Skills
The ability to link technology to measurable business outcomes is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively engage with all customer stakeholders, from developers to CXOs.

Daily Activities
Your typical day will involve partnering with customers, AWS Sales teams, and internal AWS groups to design highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and expedite their adoption of AWS services.

Strategic Thinking
You will connect your technical expertise to tangible solutions, defining and creating cloud-native reference architectures.

Innovation and Creativity
A significant part of your role will be acting as a trusted customer advocate, guiding organizations in understanding best practices for cloud-based solutions.

Collaboration
Work across AWS teams to drive and shape new solutions and mechanisms for repeatable customer business outcomes.

About the Team
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is dedicated to driving revenue, adoption, and growth from a diverse range of accounts, including enterprise-level customers.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience in IT development or consulting in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience working with Machine Learning and Data Science communities.
- 3+ years of experience working with AWS ML technologies.
