As an integral member of the solution architecture team, you will play a pivotal role in the successful development and migration of applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to devise and implement a sales strategy aimed at surpassing revenue targets through the adoption of AWS solutions.
  • Educating clients of various sizes on the advantages of AWS, engaging in in-depth architectural discussions to ensure that solutions are optimally designed for cloud deployment.
  • Planning and preparing comprehensive business proposals, including responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Conducting targeted training sessions to share knowledge with customers who are considering or currently utilizing AWS.
  • Documenting and disseminating best practices within the AWS solutions architect community.
  • Contributing to AWS customer-facing publications, such as white papers.
  • Building strong relationships with senior technical personnel within client organizations to empower them as advocates for cloud solutions.
  • Acting as a technical liaison among clients, service engineering teams, and support staff.
  • Working closely with strategic account sales representatives to close business deals by providing both business and technical expertise throughout the sales cycle for AWS-based applications.
  • Conducting discovery calls, defining solution architecture, and delivering solution-oriented demonstrations to enterprise clients, offering guidance and specialized knowledge in applying technology to client business needs.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their solution requirements.
  • Presenting and articulating advanced AWS features, benefits, product direction, and overall solutions.
  • Supporting the sales team in both online and in-person selling initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop tailored solutions.
  • Creating and delivering presentations on targeted technologies.
Qualifications
  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on AWS cloud applications.
  • Proven experience in presales roles and working with enterprise clients.
  • Expertise in AWS Network & Security, AWS Compute (EC2), Storage, Backup & DR, Monitoring, AWS Governance & Cost Management, migration, and DevOps.
  • Significant experience in migration projects and familiarity with migration tools (both native and third-party) such as CloudEndure and MGN.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience in configuration management using tools like Ansible and/or Chef/Puppet, Shell, and PowerShell.
  • Hands-on experience with primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, ECS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Route53, and S3).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of one or more cloud certifications, preferably in AWS.
  • Experience in designing and developing solutions based on cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership through publications and public speaking engagements.
