Key Responsibilities

The Security Architect will be responsible for the following:

  • Translating private cloud implementations into comprehensive blueprints that leverage Cloud Security Products to bolster IT security, ensuring alignment with user requirements.
  • Possessing extensive expertise in system design and architecture, with a proven track record of implementing diverse solutions.
  • Delivering secure and resilient hybrid cloud architectures that adhere to industry best practices across platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP.
  • Demonstrating a profound understanding of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, containerization, microservices, and serverless computing, alongside risk management and security measures.
  • Overseeing the selection and architecture of cloud security tools and controls, integrating existing enterprise tools with cloud-native security solutions.
  • Developing Identity and Access Management (IAM) architectures that redefine security perimeters, focusing on users, assets, and resources.
  • Exhibiting advanced knowledge of Identity Security concepts, including least-privilege access, separation of duties, and Zero Trust design principles.
  • Utilizing IAM Policy 'as code' methodologies and tools such as OPA Open Policy Agent.
  • Bringing strong technical expertise in IT Security, with a history of managing product teams and enhancing digital transformation securely.
  • Leading teams focused on IAM, network structuring, and improving self-service experiences.
  • Acting as a thought leader, providing insights to stakeholders on emerging technologies and market trends.
  • Creating a customer-focused communication strategy that emphasizes strategic business value.
  • Collaborating closely with project teams and executive leadership to govern security discussions with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Security, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred professional certifications in information technology and cloud security, such as CISSP, with optional certifications including CISM, CCSP, CISA, CEH, OSCP, and Architect Certification.
