Position Overview
As a Cloud Solutions Architect at Compugain, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative technical solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients in the State & Local Public Sector. Your expertise will be crucial in aligning our cloud offerings with client objectives, industry standards, and cutting-edge technologies.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with client engagement teams to develop, architect, and present comprehensive business and technical solutions that facilitate our clients' cloud journeys and digital transformations.
As part of a dynamic team, you will engage in the complete solution development lifecycle, working hand-in-hand with client management to refine our proposals and messaging for prospective clients.
Your responsibilities will include scoping, proposing, and designing on-premises, hybrid, and multicloud solutions that fulfill the technological and business requirements of State and Local government clients. Your leadership in technology strategy will be essential for advancing our sales initiatives, presenting solutions, and ensuring successful adoption of cloud technologies.

  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple domains and maintain a strong presence in relevant market segments.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and technological advancements.
  • Effectively communicate financial insights and develop strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Exhibit professionalism and integrity while balancing client expectations and company goals.
  • Promote a collaborative environment that prioritizes team success over individual achievements.
Cloud Solution Development:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business needs and objectives.
  • Define and align the organization's cloud strategy with overarching business goals.
  • Identify opportunities for leveraging cloud services to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Recommend appropriate cloud platforms and deployment models to meet client requirements.
Cloud Solution Design:
  • Architect and design cloud-based solutions that meet both business and technical specifications.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.
  • Select suitable cloud technologies and frameworks to support client needs.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards throughout the solution lifecycle.
Cloud Integration and Migration:
  • Assess client environments and devise strategies for seamless cloud migration and integration.
  • Plan and execute the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with business and technical teams to provide guidance on cloud architecture best practices.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and workshops on cloud technologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with cloud service providers and technology partners.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and certifications.
  • 12+ years of experience in designing and delivering technology solutions for state and local clients.
  • Strong partnerships with leading cloud vendors such as Google, AWS, and Azure.
  • Proven track record in cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Expertise in design patterns, architecture best practices, and cost optimization strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms and architecture principles.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure in cloud environments.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or SAFe Agile.
  • Cloud certifications including AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Cloud Architect.
