Position Overview

Role Summary
As a key member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) division, you will be instrumental in advancing the Bluestem mission and optimizing financial outcomes.

Key Contributions
Your role will focus on maintaining the accuracy of our financial data, delivering insightful analyses and reports, and leveraging your specialized knowledge to offer well-founded recommendations. Credit Operations
Credit plays a pivotal role in our business model, as we strive to empower individuals to achieve better financial health.

Responsibilities
This position will support the organization's success by delivering financial insights and outstanding service to the Credit strategy and operations teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing intricate financial models to monitor, analyze, and report on portfolio revenue and loss trends.
  • Providing support for expense management related to Credit Strategy and Operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling and Reporting: Oversee complex models with diverse data sources to ensure accurate portfolio reporting.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with Credit and Finance teams to create forecasts for Credit-related expenses.
  • Management Consultation: Provide financial analyses to support strategic business decisions.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or business analytics with increasing responsibility.
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Hyperion Essbase is advantageous.
  • Ability to independently address business challenges.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in presenting financial outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
