CORPORATE FINANCE ANALYST

Hiring: Corporate Finance Analyst. We are collaborating with a dynamic mid-sized organization that is experiencing significant growth and is eager to enhance their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team by bringing on board a skilled Corporate Finance Analyst. This position will report to a leader dedicated to nurturing talent and fostering continuous professional development, offering opportunities to engage in diverse projects as you excel in your role.

Job Objective:

The Corporate Finance Analyst will engage with management at all levels to facilitate and guide the evaluation of the company's financial performance. This role will deliver financial insights for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic business planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial insights to FP&A leadership to ensure that planning decisions are informed by sound financial analysis.
  • Collaborate with Accounting Managers during the monthly closing process.
  • Support the consolidation and financial reporting processes for senior management.
  • Develop the annual budgeting calendar and create budget templates. Assist various departments in the budgeting process to ensure timely submission of annual budgets for executive review.
  • Work alongside senior management to deliver financial analysis for new business ventures and growth strategies, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects to identify opportunities for enhancing forecast accuracy and improving operational efficiency.
  • Analyze trends and prepare summaries for executive review that detail forecast patterns and the overall financial outlook of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial planning & analysis is essential (candidates with accounting experience who are interested in transitioning to FP&A are also encouraged to apply).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive analyses of business issues from inception to conclusion, including developing research criteria, identifying relevant data sources, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes, with the capability to produce financial reports using standard reporting tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively resolve issues.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of 80K to 85K, plus eligibility for quarterly bonuses.
