Position Overview

The Human Resources team is seeking a dedicated HR Operations Specialist to deliver administrative support across various HR initiatives. This role is pivotal in enhancing HR processes and serving as the primary contact for HR-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a resource for human resources inquiries, effectively communicating policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process, including job postings and interview coordination.
  • Support employment activities, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Manage HRIS data management tasks, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Assist in the administration of disability and leave procedures, maintaining accurate records.
  • Coordinate the annual performance appraisal process and maintain personnel files.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree with two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.

Desired Skills

  • A bachelor's degree and prior HR experience in an academic environment are preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR management systems is advantageous.
