Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various trainings and events, maintaining and updating data within our HRIS, and providing high-touch support to employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Training and Event Coordination: Assist with coordinating a variety of trainings and events, including New Hire Orientations, onboarding sessions, benefits administration, and other HR-related activities.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update data within our HRIS and across other systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy.
  • Employee Support: Provide high-touch support to employees by responding to questions quickly and with a friendly and helpful approach.
  • Compliance: Assist with processes related to compliance of various state and federal requirements.
  • Employment Verifications: Respond to requests for employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Employee Files: Manage employee files and upload new hire documentation.
  • Data Integrity: Support the integrity of our data by running regular audits and reporting.
  • Learning and Development: Support, schedule, and assist learning and development trainings.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist with ad-hoc projects and other administrative tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of prior experience in HR or Associate's Degree with 3-5 years of prior experience in HR.
  • ADP Experience: ADP WorkForce experience is a must.
