Regional Vice President of Sales Leadership

About the role
The Regional Vice President will be responsible for driving the success of their aligned team, including recruiting, hiring, training, and development. They will also provide continual performance feedback to reinforce the success of aligned sales representatives.
Key responsibilities include effectively managing their territory, understanding key performance indicators, sales, and market metrics, and assessing business exceptions with successful results. They will also build strong relationships with brokers in their region, develop and implement smart marketing plans, and continually assess outcomes to drive success in their region.
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, Life and Health Insurance License, and 10+ years of regional production sales and sales leadership experience, specifically in Group Ancillary Life, Disability, Absence, and Supplemental Health product lines. Demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals, strong abilities in planning, organization, decision making, and team management, experience in successful development and implementation of marketing plans, excellent relationship management skills, and thorough understanding of risk management principles and general underwriting concepts for all segment sizes are also required.
Travel is required at 40-50%.

Compensation
Base salary: $150,000 plus eligibility for incentive compensation.
