Position Overview:
You will serve as the Project Engineer overseeing various Lines of Business and Functions within Aeronautics.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a variety of specialized projects, which may include but are not limited to: comprehensive value stream mapping, process enhancement, advancing Agile methodologies in Project Engineering, proposal support, and resolving technical challenges.

Oversee the creation of Project Charters, Project Plans, and ensure effective Project Execution.

Facilitate the planning, organization, control, integration, and successful completion of Engineering projects in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.


Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field from an accredited institution, along with relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems Engineering.
- Experience in developing and implementing Project plans.
- Must possess a Secret or higher security clearance.

Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Self-motivated individual who can operate with minimal supervision and communicate clearly across various levels of leadership.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Program or Project Management.
- Experience in managing software development initiatives.
- Familiarity with Dassault 3D Experience (3DX).
- Knowledge of digital engineering, manufacturing, and management tools.
- Experience with Agile development practices.
- Understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Proficient in managing projects using Confluence and/or JIRA.
- Experience in presenting to senior leadership within Lockheed Martin and to customers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Security Clearance Requirement:
This role necessitates a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens to be considered.

Work Environment:
This position requires full-time onsite work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule:
Lockheed Martin offers a variety of flexible work schedules. This position follows a 4x10 hour workweek, providing three days off each week.

Compensation:

The annual base salary range for this position in specific states is between $100,400 and $192,500. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
