Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will spearhead a variety of specialized projects. Your role will involve the development of Project Charters, Project Plans, and overseeing Project Execution. You will coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and successful completion of engineering projects in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, the following project types:
  • Comprehensive value stream mapping and process enhancement
  • Enhancing Agile methodologies within Project Engineering
  • Support for proposals and campaigns
  • Resolution of technical challenges

Basic Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
  • Familiarity with System Engineering processes.
  • Experience in Project Management or Project Engineering.
  • A Secret security clearance is necessary.
Desired Skills:
  • Current Special Access Program Clearance or the ability to obtain it.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
  • Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).
  • Knowledge of project management principles (Cost/Schedule/Technical).
  • Understanding of the program lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in project planning and tracking tools such as JIRA or Version 1.
  • Experience throughout the engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test, and operational deployment).
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; candidates must be U.S. Citizens for consideration.

Work Environment:
This role is performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules, providing additional flexibility for employees. Options include standard 40-hour work weeks or condensed schedules, allowing for extra time away from the office in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position varies based on location and experience. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as the scope of responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
