Position Title: Maintenance Sales Associate

Key Responsibilities:

The individual in this role will be tasked with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, offering clients comprehensive product information, nurturing existing client relationships, crafting impactful sales presentations, and ensuring follow-through on all client engagements.

The responsibilities of the Maintenance Sales Associate include, but are not limited to:

  • Adhering to EMCOR's established sales philosophy and processes.
  • Conducting thorough research to uncover potential client opportunities through various channels, including direct outreach, networking events, and online resources.
  • Collaborating with the Vice President of Business Development, Director of Sales, and other team members to continuously enhance account management strategies and achieve sales objectives.
  • Utilizing analytical skills to implement solution-oriented programs that drive sales growth and enhance client profitability in the designated market area.
  • Assessing client needs and proposing tailored solutions that EMCOR can deliver. Strong skills in proposal development and presentation are essential.
  • Creating, drafting, and reviewing client proposal documents, including financial and technical components, using EMCOR's standard templates and pricing structures.
  • Generating sales at specified margin levels to capture market share while ensuring profitability.
  • Engaging professionally with colleagues across various departments, including Operations and Project Management.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional development as a Sales Professional through participation in training programs.
  • Achieving established annual sales targets.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC commercial sales or maintenance services is ideal.
  • Proven ability to deliver compelling customer presentations and a strong sales aptitude.
  • Financial literacy, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in developing both technical and financial proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • A valid driver's license and compliance with MVR requirements are necessary. An operational vehicle for business use is also required.
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, or squat for extended periods and to climb stairs and ladders.

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
