Senior Building Automation Sales Manager

Position Title: Senior Building Automation Account Manager
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Building Automation Account Manager will play a pivotal role in driving sales initiatives, cultivating new client relationships, and delivering comprehensive product services and information to our clients. This role encompasses the management of client pricing, accounts receivable, client communications, profit and loss reporting, quality assurance support, and participation in industry events.
- Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
- Identifying and researching prospective projects through various channels such as phone outreach, site visits, attending industry conferences, and leveraging existing networks.
- Collaborating with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers, and Engineering Supervisors to continually enhance account strategies to achieve targeted goals.
- Utilizing analytical and solution-oriented approaches to optimize sales growth, volume, and profitability.
- Preparing and delivering impactful presentations to clients.
- Crafting, reviewing, and finalizing client proposal documents, including both financial and technical components, utilizing standard templates and pricing models.
- Driving sales initiatives at established margin levels to capture market share.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of sales experience in HVAC commercial services or building automation.
- Relevant technical expertise, ideally within a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance context.
- Exceptional customer presentation abilities and a proven sales track record.
- Strong financial understanding, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
- Experience in developing both technical and cost proposals.
- Ability to make independent decisions is essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required, with advanced skills in Excel.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
