Position Title: Senior Building Automation Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Building Automation Account Manager will be tasked with crafting compelling sales presentations, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and delivering essential product services and information to clients. This role also encompasses the management of client pricing, accounts receivable, client communications, profit and loss reporting, quality assurance support, and participation in industry events.

  • Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients.
  • Conducting thorough research to identify prospective projects through various channels, including phone outreach, site visits, conference attendance, and leveraging existing connections.
  • Collaborating with the Director of Business Development, Project Managers, and Engineering Supervisors to continuously enhance account strategies to achieve targeted goals.
  • Utilizing analytical and solution-oriented approaches to drive sales growth, volume, and profitability.
  • Preparing and presenting tailored client presentations.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and finalizing client proposal documents, ensuring adherence to EMCOR Service/Mesa Energy Systems standards for financial and technical content.
  • Generating sales that meet defined margin targets to capture market share.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of sales experience in HVAC commercial services or building automation is required.
  • Relevant technical experience in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer presentation skills and a proven sales track record are essential.
  • Strong financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive technical and cost proposals.
  • Ability to make independent decisions is necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
