Job Opportunity:

At Venturis Capital, we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This is a hybrid role that requires collaboration with customers, manufacturer partners, and account managers to accelerate the adoption and usage of our fleet management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and Enhance Market Position: Identify, develop, define, and close business relationships to expand our market presence.
  • Market Research and Engagement: Stay informed about current purchasing trends through research and industry engagement.
  • Analyze Market Strategies: Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, and financials to screen potential business deals.
  • Proposal and Deal Closure: Propose and initiate potential business deals by establishing rapport and arranging meetings, and close new business deals by coordinating requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating them with business operations.
  • Customer Value Growth: Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Service Expansion: Explore opportunities to add value to customers by expanding our services.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Assist in planning and developing new marketing initiatives to penetrate key industries.
  • Quote and Proposal Development: Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Industry Events: Identify and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline of national account or fleet management opportunities, acting as an evangelist for our company.
  • Forecasting: Provide regular forecasts to Senior Management.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturer partners to ensure a flawless product and service delivery experience.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary education in Sales, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of prior experience in sales, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in national account management.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an asset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong organizational skills, presentation skills, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% within North America, with a valid passport and driver's license required.

Benefits:

  • Compensation: The base pay range for this role is $70,000 annual base salary, plus initial bridge salary, and uncapped commission, with an annual OTE approximately $100,000-$200,000.
