Texas A&M AgriLife Research is a leading institution in agricultural research, and we are seeking an exceptional Business Operations Specialist to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
The Business Operations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating administrative support functions, planning and executing administrative activities, and participating in the planning of office operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administrative support functions and plan and execute administrative activities.
- Develop, evaluate, and ensure adherence to office procedures, including budget development and reporting.
- Collaborate with communications staff to update project websites and perform other related tasks.
- Review incoming emails and track important deadlines, sign documents for supervisors, and attend meetings or committees as needed.
- Analyze program, project, or initiative progress, monitor timelines, and identify issues, adapting services, processes, or programs accordingly.
- Formulate, interpret, and implement management policies or operating practices, developing administrative and technical procedures, researching, interpreting, compiling, and responding to inquiries about rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Perform special analyses and project summaries, prepare and review operational and special reports, coordinate office records retention, and maintain office references and resources materials.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate the work of others, assigning tasks and evaluating job progress.
- Coordinate maintenance of office supplies and equipment, making recommendations for process improvements, administrative changes, or new initiatives.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare itineraries, plan and coordinate meetings, seminars, and other special events.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of related experience.

Desired Qualifications:
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications.
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook email and calendar.
- Ability to use various scheduling tools (e.g., Outlook, DoodlePoll, WhentoMeet, etc.).
- Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Planning and organization skills.
