Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams in conducting ESG materiality assessments, reporting, and compliance aligned with various global frameworks.
- Monitor and analyze ESG regulations and guidelines on an international scale.
- Develop benchmarking strategies for assessing environmental, social, and governance performance across industries.
- Assist clients in aligning their sustainability efforts with their public communications, particularly regarding third-party ESG evaluations.
- Provide research and strategic recommendations in areas including climate change, supply chain management, and diversity initiatives.
- Conduct in-depth research to support executive presentations, media analysis, and sustainability trend assessments.
- Create and refine analytical reports, internal communications, and client-facing materials.
- Oversee project management tasks, including meeting coordination and administrative support.
- Maintain and update project timelines and stakeholder engagement lists.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to project teams.
- Support various account teams in executing multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in ESG or sustainability reporting and advisory roles.
- Experience in investor relations, particularly advising senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of key environmental and social issues, with the ability to stay informed on emerging trends and regulations.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the capability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proficient in managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
- Excellent written communication skills across various formats.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
- Resourceful with strong time management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to changing circumstances.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
- An MBA or CPA is advantageous.
- Experience in consulting and familiarity with SASB standards is a plus.
