We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer II to join our Electronic Warfare Systems team at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring program objectives are achieved through effective requirements engineering and systems design.
Key Responsibilities- Determine requirements for products or systems based on customer information and provide traceability to these requirements.
- Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
- Ensure requirements are clear, concise, understandable, and verifiable.
- Trace the flow of requirements between different parts of the program to ensure all areas have the complete information appropriate to their activity.
- Assess the impact of requirement changes on the overall system and subsystems, and track and control implemented changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of prior systems engineering experience.
- Experience with systems design and requirements engineering on EW/Radar programs.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Strong RF experience and knowledge of microwave modules.
- Technical team leadership experience of minimum of three engineers.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (Cameo Enterprise Architecture (SysML specifically), digital thread concepts, digital engineering, MBSE with DevSecOps).
- Experience leading STE development (and prime hardware) test activities.
- Experience with security requirements related to government testing.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance with investigation within five years.
