GENERAL OVERVIEW
As the Pricing Strategy Manager, you will be instrumental in transforming HistoryMaker Homes into a data-centric organization. This role entails offering insights on community positioning and investment prospects. A significant portion of your responsibilities will involve analyzing intricate data sets to extract actionable insights that will inform strategic decision-making throughout the organization.
Depending on your location, the role may necessitate regular travel to other markets for collaboration and analysis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as an individual contributor while collaborating across departments, with potential for future leadership roles.
- Engage in fieldwork for up to two days each week, with possible monthly travel commitments.
- Deliver presentations of findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop tools and models to enhance the efficiency of market data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Evaluate market and consumer data to formulate pricing and promotional strategies aimed at boosting profitability and sales.
- Gather, monitor, and assess data related to consumers, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Conduct focus groups to gather consumer insights.
- Interpret complex data and present findings in clear tables, graphs, and reports.
- Oversee and improve reporting processes using analytical tools.
- Assess market depth and product positioning for potential land acquisitions.
- Review existing community positioning monthly and provide actionable recommendations to enhance sales and profitability.
- Measure the effectiveness of market positioning and pricing strategies, reporting on community strategy improvements.
- Summarize market conditions and economic trends on a quarterly basis.
- Document analytical processes for future reference.
- Collaborate with the sales team to assist in understanding community positioning and addressing underperformance.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience: At least three years of relevant experience in analytics.
- Language Proficiency: Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
- Reasoning Skills: Ability to tackle practical and complex challenges, interpreting a variety of instructions in different formats.
