POSITION SUMMARY

As a Pricing Manager at HistoryMaker Homes, you will be instrumental in transitioning the organization towards a data-centric approach. This role involves delivering insights on community positioning and investment prospects. A significant portion of your responsibilities will include analyzing intricate data sets to extract actionable insights that will inform strategic decisions across various levels of the organization.

Depending on your base location, travel may be required to other markets on a monthly basis.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as an individual contributor collaborating across departments, with potential for future team leadership.
  • Engage in fieldwork for up to two days weekly, with possible monthly travel commitments.
  • Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop tools and models aimed at enhancing market data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
  • Evaluate market and consumer data to formulate pricing and promotional strategies that drive profitability and sales growth.
  • Gather, monitor, and analyze consumer, competitor, and market condition data.
  • Conduct focus groups to gain consumer insights.
  • Translate complex data into clear tables, graphs, and comprehensive reports.
  • Oversee and improve reporting processes utilizing Power BI.
  • Assess market depth and product positioning for potential land acquisitions.
  • Review existing community positioning monthly, providing actionable recommendations to sales, marketing, and executive teams to enhance sales and profitability.
  • Measure the effectiveness of market positioning and pricing strategies, reporting on community strategy improvements and their results.
  • Summarize market conditions, economic trends, and housing updates on a quarterly basis.
  • Document analytical processes and methodologies for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to assist sales counselors and managers in understanding community positioning and addressing underperformance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least three years of experience in analytics.
  • Language Proficiency: Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
  • Reasoning Skills: Capable of addressing practical and complex challenges, with the ability to interpret diverse instructions presented in various formats.
