The ideal candidate for the Construction Cost Analyst position will possess the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction cost analysis
  • Exceptional customer service abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with estimating software, particularly Xactimate, is advantageous
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities
  • Collaborative team-oriented mindset
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience with local regulations and permitting processes
  • Knowledge of sub-base construction is a plus

As a Construction Cost Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Engagement
    • Establishing rapport with clients
    • Assisting clients throughout the construction journey
    • Identifying client needs for modifications or enhancements
    • Ensuring that estimates align with client expectations
  2. Project Assessment
    • Evaluating labor, materials, and time requirements
    • Developing precise project scopes and cost estimates
    • Recognizing project limitations and potential upgrades
    • Collaborating with the Project Manager on pricing strategies
  3. Project Documentation
    • Detailing the project scope of work
    • Coordinating with external partners for accurate estimates
    • Submitting estimates to the Project Manager

A formal background in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred for this role. This position requires full-time commitment, with potential travel and weekend work.
