Job Summary
We are seeking a PRN (Scheduled as Needed) Mobile Crisis Specialist to join our frontline crisis intervention team. As a Mobile Crisis Specialist, you will perform assessments and crisis intervention, including de-escalation, crisis planning, implementation, and treatment plans with consumers in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Effectively communicate clients' needs while making internal agency or community referrals.
- Serve as a liaison for collaboration with other involved parties, including families, friends, and community partners such as local emergency services.
- Educate individuals about community resources related to mental health, substance abuse, available community resources, and our services.
- Complete documentation in an accurate and thorough manner.
- Abide by all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to confidentiality and protected health information.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field of study and at least one (1) year professional experience (experience working within a crisis environment preferred).
- Must possess and maintain current licensure in the state of Maryland (LMSW or LGPC).
- Valid driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
- Ability to work evening shift - 4-12, may have flexibility on shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- LCSW-C or LCPC.
