Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a Critical Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing support to individuals in crisis, developing stabilization plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring physical and mental health disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized stabilization plans to address immediate and long-term needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, BCBA's, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in hotline rotations to address acute crisis calls and provide timely support.
  • Participate in clinical trainings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary planning meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, Special Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Experience in the human services field, with a focus on crisis intervention and support.
  • California driver's license in good standing and insurance.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
  • Fluency in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, and/or Tagalog is strongly encouraged.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to crisis situations in a timely and effective manner.
