Job Summary

Catholic Charities is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Case Manager II: Emergency Relief Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Rental Assistance Program, you will be responsible for providing critical support services to families and individuals in need of emergency relief.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop personalized housing stabilization plans for clients.
  • Coordinate with landlords, property managers, and community resources to secure affordable housing options.
  • Provide crisis intervention and short-term case management services to clients, including referrals to relevant agencies and advocacy on their behalf.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and program data.
  • Collaborate with program directors and other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least one year of experience in case management, housing advocacy, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources, housing laws, and social services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluency in Spanish or Cantonese.
  • Experience working with families in crisis or with a history of homelessness.
  • Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health issues, and treatment models.
  • Ability to design and implement data tracking systems to monitor program progress.
