About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Village Behavioral Health. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our patients, helping them to achieve their treatment goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and close supervision of facility patients, documenting behavior and progress
  • Develop positive, healthy relationships with patients and colleagues, promoting a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Implement treatment plans, provide crisis intervention as necessary, and act as a positive role model in using counseling skills to de-escalate aggression and promote a positive peer culture
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, 7-year criminal background screen, fingerprint screen, MVR screen, work history, and reference check
